Moses led the Israelites from Egypt with the hope and faith towards God and was able to save the people from the Egyptian King and Soldiers.
Similarly with the same hope, faith and order from God to serve the people, I whole heartedly accepted the will of God and continue to serve the downtrodden people by founding this institution to educate and serve them from illiteracy.
Since, Annai Veilankanni's College of Arts and Science was started in the year 2000and within a span of eleven then, the college has risen slowly and steadily to a position of a pioneer institution with the support of the Principal, dedicated members of the faculty, parents and students.
Annai Veilankanni's Women's college is a place where education meets innovation and values and the three stay together .We have taken up several initiatives to expose students to the emerging trends in teaching and learning .Value added and skill enhancing courses are offered for employability and empowerment.
In short, it has been our endeavour for the past 23 years to give the best to the students of all our institutions in terms of knowledge, wisdom and enlightenment. To make the presence of Annai Veilankanni's College in the virtual world, the website has been launched to give comprehensive information about the Annai Veilankanni's group of institutions. Menus are created to highlight the events, flash news, results, achievements etc.

Aim & Motto of the College
Our Motto is Faith, Endeavour and Power. Our aim is to endeavour to enlighten by faith and power. We prepare and train students to be academically excellent, morally strong, socially committed and spiritually enlightened, sensitized to the needs of the society.
The aim of the College is to prepare young students to continuously search for truth, knowledge and light and to grow into mature and responsible citizens, ready to face challenges of life at home, in society and the nation at large. The students, when they leave the portals of the college would be empowered to face life and overcome all obstacles through relentless endeavour and faith in God. The college, at a time when basic values are fast disappearing strives continuously to inculcate in the students the sound philosophy of life based on deep faith in God, respect for oneself and one's neighbour, the concern for the less privileged, and the ideals of the great angelic chorus "Peace on earth and goodwill towards men". St. Luke. 2:14.
