Admission Procedure
- To obtain Prospectus and an Application form write to The Chairman, Annai Veliankanni's Teacher Training Institute, Saidapet, Chennai-600 015.
- The Application form can be obtained on cash payment of Rs.100/- in person or furnishing D.D favouring : The Chairman, Annai Veilankanni's Educational & Cultural society.
- All information given in the Application form should be accurate.
- Any falsification or suppression of information will result in the application and the candidate being rejected at any time.
- The Application Form has to be filled by the applicant in her own handwriting.
- All communication concerning the application should bear the Application Number.
- The filled in Application Form should reach the Principal, Annai Veilankanni's Teacher Training Institute on or before 15th JUNE 2010.
Eligibility
Any Student who has successfully completed the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Govt. Examinations or any other course offered by Govt. recognised Universities or equivalent to it, is eligible for admission to the diploma programme.
How to Apply
- Application for admission to a course should be made in the prescribed Application Form which is available along with the prospectus.
- Incomplete Application Forms will not be accepted. All the details furnished by the candidates in their Application Form should be accurate and correct.
- Each application should be accompanied by photo copies of the following:

a) Higher Secondary Mark Sheet or College Degree certificate.
b) Transfer Certificate from the School / College last attended.
c) Conduct Certificate from the Principal of the School / College last attended.
- Community Certificate issued by a competent authority in the case of B.C., M.B.C.,S.C.,S.T.
- One recent passport size and one stamp size photographs.
- Sports certificates ( District level and above)
- (i) Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will receive interview cards which are valid only until the date specified. The receipt of interview cards, does not guarantee admission. At the time of interview all the original certificates of the candidates will be scrutinized. Selected candidates will be issued admission cards only after payment of fees.
(ii) The selected candidates will have to deposit all the original certificates to the institute and they will not be returned till the completion of the course. They are therefore advised to take sufficient photo copies of the certificates before submitting the originals to the institute.
(iii) Fees once paid will not be refunded. Students dismissed on disciplinary grounds will have to forefeit the entire fees.
(iv) If a student wishes to leave the institute at any time before the completion of the course, they will have to pay the entire fees for the whole course.
Method of Admission and Selection:
- Eligible candidates will be called for the written test and interview
- The selected candidates will be notified by post and if a candidate does not join within the date specified, it will be deemed that the candidate has not accepted the call and the seat is forfeited.

- The prescribed fees should be paid on the day of admission for the I year and for II year. The fees should be paid in the month of July of each year.
- Students will be permitted to attend classes only after the full payment of fees before the due dates.
